The Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals proudly presents the 2025 Scholarship application, demonstrating commitment to fostering media careers within the Hispanic community.

With gratitude to various supporters, over $800,000 have been awarded in scholarships in our 37 years as an organization.

Our Scholarship Application

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

- Junior or senior undergraduates and graduate students in media and communications-related fields upon enrollment in the fall 2025 semester.

- Enrollment for fall 2025 in a U.S. or Puerto Rico community college or university.

- Residency in the Greater Houston Area.

- Minimum GPA of 3.0

Winners will be announced in the late-Summer of 2025.

If I’m a sophomore at a community college but will have enough credits to qualify as a junior of Fall 2025, can I apply?

Yes! Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university anywhere in the United States and Puerto Rico and who will have enough credits to qualify as at least juniors by the start of the fall 2025 semester are welcome to apply.
