MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

HAHMP Membership is open to the following:
  • Working journalists whose full or part-time job is to produce, gather, or distribute news.
​
  • Public relations specialists, designers, media sales personnel, communications professors, and freelance journalists who spend at least 25 percent of their working time producing, gathering, or distributing news.
​
  • Student membership is open to those enrolled full-time in a journalism or communications course of study at an accredited college or university.
