<p>They are looking for someone with the below qualifications:</p>

</ol>
<p>Below is detailed job description.  Please circulate to all of your networks!</p>
<p>A.      Team with director to establish strategies aimed at fulfilling company communication goals.  Implements plans with outreach to specific communities, primarily the Spanish-speaking community of Southeast Texas.</p>
<p>B.      Build new and cultivate existing relationships with specific organizations, including the Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Spanish media, Greater Houston Partnership, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, among others</p>
<p>C.      Plan media activities and place stories to promote donation in Hispanic communities.  Serve as secondary spokesperson in general media. Utilize timely recognition events such as National Donate Life Month, Minority Donor Awareness Day and National Donor Sabbath to help place stories.</p>
<p>D.      Recruit Spanish-speaking volunteers and collaborate with community relations liaison and/or volunteer coordinator in the development of new strategies for volunteer efforts.</p>
<p>E.       Assists with the creation and development of internal communications, including the employee newsletter.</p>
<p>F.       Develops and executes social media campaigns for the organization.</p>
<p>G.     With counsel from the director, develops new programs to reach key constituents such as outreach to sports teams and other activities, as warranted.</p>
<p>H.      Develop effective tools such as materials, brochures, poster, etc. to be utilized in outreach efforts.</p>
<p>I.        Performs other duties as assigned.</p>
<p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p>
<ul>
<li>Employee must have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in journalism, public relations and marketing.</li>
<li>Employee must be fluent in both written and verbal Spanish and English</li>

<p>As Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources with a focus on recruiting, retention, employee relations, and regulatory compliance. In concert with our parent company, Belo Corp., you will administer training, new employee orientation, compensation programs, and other Corporate-driven HR programs.</p>
<p>Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field, and a minimum of 5 years experience in human resources functions.  Manage the performance of the producers and associate producers, oversee and enterprise team coverage and special events, prevent on-air mistakes, enhance newscasts through an innovative use of graphics, work with reporters to make their stories better, work with the desk to improve quality and quantity of coverage, take a lead role in breaking news and have a firm grip on local news.  Requires degree in Journalism or related field and 3 years broadcast television producing experience.  Major market and/or management experience preferred.  Web experience a plus. <p><strong>BACKPACK JOURNALIST</strong><br />
 Must be able to work independently, gather information and discern its newsworthiness in an extremely high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Will research, write in broadcast style with brevity and clarity, and present news stories on the air in a professional yet engaging manner. Must possess strong on-camera skills as well as have experience using techniques involved in the editing process. The Backpack Journalist is responsible for gathering news material, interviewing persons both on and off camera, obtaining video and/or still images, editing video material, participating in the editorial process, preparing and presenting packages/reports both on and off the air. Familiarity with non-linear editing equipment such as AVID, as well as photojournalism cameras such as the D.C. Pro is a must. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in journalism preferred. Applicant must have experience in broadcast reporting: a minimum of 2 years in broadcast journalism and have prior editing experience. Must have valid driver license and clean driving record. Must be able to meet aggressive deadlines while completing high-quality stories.</p>
<p><strong>PRODUCER</strong><br />
 Write, arrange, and coordinate live and taped elements into a compelling, well-paced newscast.  Communicate well with field crews, assignment desk, directors, and newsroom management.  Exercise sound news judgment.  Requires Bachelors&rsquo; degree in Journalism or related field and two years of paid newsroom experience as producer or associate producer.  Must be computer literate and possess good interpersonal skills.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this position.</p>
<p><strong>PHOTOGRAPHER</strong><br />
 Shoot/Edit on P2 camera.  Operate camera, lights, wireless mics, portable/permanent editing gear, microwave truck, Avstar newsroom software, cell phone, and 2-way.  Willingly accept direction from assignment desk.  Requires degree in Journalism or related field and 2 years paid broadcast news photography experience.   Must have good eye and ability to tell a compelling story with the camera.</p>
<p><strong>ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE</strong><br />
 Service/maintain existing account list (agency and direct), develop new business, increase station revenue/share of existing accounts.  Cold calling and prospecting required.  Assist in annual budgeting process, achieve budget and market share goals, and accurately forecast existing revenue and potential revenue to management.  College degree preferred.  Minimum 1 year sales experience required&mdash;broadcast experience a Plus!  Knowledge of research programs such as:  TVScan, Nielsen, Scarborough, and/or CMR preferred.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  Must be self-motivated with proven track record of success.  Must be able to work under pressure, be extremely organized, and maintain a team spirit.</p>
<p><strong>HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR</strong><br />
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: station recruitment and applicant tracking, maintenance of personnel/confidential files, processing required paperwork for all status changes including salaries, promotions, hires, terms, and leaves.  Will also be responsible for enforcing company human resources policies and procedures, preparing various monthly and annual reports including EEO, FCC, and OSHA, participating in annual budgeting process, instructing dept heads on proper procedures for recruitment, employment law, disciplinary matters, and company policies. Will assist in resolving employee conflicts.  Degree in Human Resources or related discipline and minimum 3 yrs Human Resources management experience required. Broadcast experience helpful! Will also be responsible for various reports required for station financial reporting and other duties as assigned. <p><strong>Function</strong><br />
 The Site Manager is responsible for compliance with regulatory agency rules for stations that require local presence in or near the city of license.  This person may also provide some installation, repair, and maintenance duties.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Responsible for compliance with FCC, FAA, OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies rules for stations requiring local presence in or near the city of license, including clerical duties and monitoring of equipment.</li>
<li>Responsible for compliance with EAS regulations and logs.</li>
<li>May perform some equipment installation, repair and maintenance duties.</li>
