The KTRK-TV, the ABC O&O located in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Director for our automated control room.

Responsibilities of the position include coding the Ignite rundown for a very fast paced newscast and weekend sports shows, robotic camera control, and assist in other roles as part of the station’s overall production team. Prior experience developing Ignite codes and working with INews is preferred.

Candidate must be creative … possess strong computer, leadership and communication skills, have the ability to work well under pressure and be a team player. Candidate having previous experience in a traditional director / technical director role is a plus. Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
