Houston Community College Southwest is looking for a part-time Public Relations Assistant.
The ideal candidate will help write press releases/new stories, manage the HCC Southwest Facebook page, manage twitter account, participate and help create community outreach events, and will help with all recruitment efforts in local high and middle schools. Excellent writing skills preferred and be a self-starter. This person must be able to work evenings and weekends and should have reliable transportation. This employee will be able to build a resume in event planning, PR writing, web design, and social media marketing.
