KTRK-TV, The #1 station in Houston, Texas is seeking applicants for an Assistant Director of Engineering/Broadcast Technology with management and leadership experience.

The successful candidate will assist the Director of Engineering with studio maintenance, capital project planning and implementation, production and on-air operations. Candidate must have experience with digital video, information technology, audio technologies, RF technologies and file based production workflows. Requires experience in TV broadcast engineering management including directly supervising and scheduling of technical personnel. Ideally the candidate will be detail oriented and a team player with the ability to support and service other departments including News, Programming and Promotions. A degree in a technical related field or equivalent experience preferred and at least 3 years experience in the planning, installation, operation and maintenance of modern studio equipment, automation systems, remote control and remote broadcast equipment as well as other equipment typical to a commercial television station.
