KHOU-TV, a BELO owned station in Houston, Texas, has an immediate opening for a morning producer to join our award-winning news team. The selected candidate will need to be an energetic leader who understands the overall mission of the morning show and the importance of urgency, immediacy and owning the big stories. Interested candidates should be creative, possess excellent writing and communication skills, works well with others, and can perform under extreme deadline pressure. A college degree and a minimum of 5 years producing experience in a medium to major market are strongly preferred. This is a full time position which may include weekday and weekend hours.
