Job Title: Site Manager/Local Presence (FT)
Department: Engineering
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Supervisor: Chief Engineer Work location: Crystal Beach and Beaumont

Function
The Site Manager is responsible for compliance with regulatory agency rules for stations that require local presence in or near the city of license. This person may also provide some installation, repair, and maintenance duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for duties as assigned.
• Responsible for compliance with FCC, FAA, OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies rules for stations requiring local presence in or near the city of license, including clerical duties and monitoring of equipment.
• Responsible for compliance with EAS regulations and logs.
• May perform some equipment installation, repair and maintenance duties.
• May serve as Chief Operator for some stations.
• Travel to Houston and surrounding areas will be required.

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration

• Must have basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of computer operation required
• Basic understanding of computer hardware networking required
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be well organized.

Experience and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous electronic technical experience preferred.

Necessary Language Skills

• English skills required, both oral and written.
• Spanish skills, oral and written, preferred.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
