KTRK-TV, the ABC owned station located in Houston, TX has an exceptional employment opportunity for an entry level P/T BROADCAST DESIGNER for Television News Graphics.

The qualified candidate will have good design skills and be organized and able to work on multiple projects to meet deadlines, apply good design sense to create new layouts from start to finish for on-air graphics using existing or original artwork, follow all templates and file requirements established for use in on-air motion and still graphics.  The successful candidate will be assigned to work evening shifts that may include working weekends and holidays; must be willing to work flexible schedule.

Requirements include experience in 2D design production and experience working with Macintosh systems with Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, Version 5.  Prefer Graphics Design degree or equivalent; will consider someone with design experience.  Some 3D, Adobe After Effects and Flash experience would be beneficial although not required.  Must be a team player with good interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment.  Will work closely with other departments particularly, News, Promotions and Community Affairs.
